... showered with baby gifts
... washing and folding teeny tiny clothes
... cleaning, sorting, and organizing to get someone's room ready for his arrival
... feeling huge and uncomfortable and seriously lacking energy
... sure that this baby is no longer head down (I really hope I'm wrong)
... having difficulty getting up and down and sitting in various positions
... dreaming that this baby comes early
... eating more ice cream at home
... cooking simple meals
... buying local food
... picking and eating fresh raspberries
... using my Epicure spices more
... dealing with a teething toddler (wow, that's NOT a pretty combination)
... putting someone back in his bed 20 million times (I knew this would happen eventually)
... woken up at 5:45 AM numerous mornings in a row by aforementioned someone getting out of his bed
... convinced that Asher cannot miss his nap, no matter how much fun we're having (trying to carry a days worth of supplies, and a screaming toddler out of a water park while you're 8 months pregnant is also NOT a pretty combination)
... visiting the zoo, the beach, friend's cottages, water parks, play parks, splash parks, bus outings, and many other day trips in order to really enjoy these last few weeks with just Asher. It's starting to take it's toll on this pregnant lady, though.
... having a few too many freak outs that I am going to be a mother of 2 very, very soon. OMG. I'm sure I will survive, but I'm a bit scared if I'm being honest.
... sure that Asher is actually ready to be potty-trained, but I just don't have it in me to clean up a million accidents a day right now, especially since getting up and down to the floor is a 20-minute process. This will have to wait until Greg is off on his paternity leave.
... so thankful that Greg is able to take 4-months of paternity leave starting in September. Benefit # 400 to being a stay-at-home-mom - the husband can take advantage of the parental leave benefits! (And also thankful that his employer tops up his income to 93%!)
... enjoying the company of some friends and missing the company of some others
... anticipating our week long cottage vacation that is THIS WEEK!
... packing and planning for aforementioned vacation (there sure is a lot of stuff to bring!)
... loving the fact that we get this week to just be together as a family of 3 and have fun!
We will be Internet free for our vacation time, so this blog will be a quiet spot. Expect lots of updates and photos when we return!

Stephanie has this necklace that her son wears, and she bought it on a whim to help support her friend starting a business, it's for teething. She thought it wouldn't work. But one day it broke, and soon he was bawling. After a while, she bought a new one, and less than 24 hours later he was back to normal... thought you might like to ask her about it, see if it'd help Asher. As for the boy getting out of bed, and thinking the baby's head is no longer down, will definately be praying!
